Venice Regional Diabetes Center
This center has a self-management education course in diabetes education for physician referred diabetics. The course includes 10 hours of education. The course is $760. Medicare and most insurances cover 80-100% of this cost. This course is certified by the American Diabetes Association. Free diabetes lectures also take place at the HealthPark of the first Thursday of every month at 1 p.m.
