Provider details
Suncoast Behavioral Health
Suncoast Behavioral Health is a private, acute psychiatric facility offering medically supervised inpatient treatment for children as young as age five, adolescents, and adults who need 24 hour care. Our multidisciplinary team consists of psychiatrists, advanced nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, licensed recreational therapists, and mental health technicians. Each patient follows an individualized treatment plan to insure they return to the least restrictive environment as quickly as possible. We work with each patient to secure a strong after-care plan that includes scheduled appointments following discharge.
We also offer a Partial Day Program for adults. The program runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 2:30pm. This program allows individuals to keep their regularly scheduled activities and return home nightly. Lunch and snacks are provided. The Partial Program is designed to be 4-6 weeks in length and medication management is available by our psychiatrist while individuals are enrolled.
Referrals can be made by family members, schools, doctors, mental health professionals, community agencies, judges, and police. Self-referrals are also accepted. Call and speak to one of our Intake Counselors 24/7. We accept voluntary patients from the entire state of Florida and are a Baker Act receiving facility.
We accept Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, private insurance, Tricare, and HMO Medicaid plans. No sliding scale. Call for details. We can verify your benefits ahead of time.
