Provides services to senior citizens ages 60 and older to promote independence and prevent institutionalization. Services include adult day care, case management, emergency signaling system, homemaker service, personal care service, dental care, eye-exams, transportation, emergency respite/respite care, congregate dining at sites throughout Sarasota county and home delivered meals. Also administers the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, Medicaid Waiver for Assisted Living, Home Care for the Elderly, Alzheimer’s Services, and private fee services.
