Lighthouse of SWFL
Lighthouse of SWFL provides the tools, support and opportunities necessary for individuals with blindness or visual impairment to achieve their desired level of independence. Classes are provided in computers, Braille, and independent living skills. The center provides weekly group and family counseling. (Individual counseling is also available by appointment.) Transition services are provided to students (ages 14 through 22) that are currently being served by the school system under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or through the Division of Blind Services. Vision rehab for infants and their families.
