Promotes technology-based careers and educationfor youth with disabilities between the ages of 14 and 22. Its purpose is to encourage these young people to explore their own interests and potential in science, technology, engineering and math, with the ultimate goal to help them aim for college and a degree in their chosen field. Help professionals to better understand uses of assistive technology and the accommodation and facility access needs of person with disabilities. Typical Florida High School-High Tech activities: corporate site visits, mentoring, job shadowing, visits to colleges & universities, and assistance with college applications.
