Foster Grandparent Program
Foster Grandparent Program provides volunteer opportunities and community involvement to seniors and serves children with special needs. The heart of the program is the one on one attention that volunteers provide. Foster Grandparent volunteers serve as mentors and tutors, provide assistance with homework and group activities. Serving 20 hours per week, Foster Grandparent Volunteers receive a modest, tax-free stipends, transportation allowance, hot meals (where available), accident and liability insurance and an annual physical exam.
