DASH provides transitional housing and direct services to victims of domestic abuse and their families (men, women, children and teens) in Sarasota and Charlotte Counties. These services include food (food pantry / food bank), transportation, psycho counseling referrals, substance abuse and anger management, as well as life management and parenting skills. Teens are kept with their parents in shelter - not transferred to YMCA or foster care. Family pets are also kept with the family.
